"The use of pure warm colours in my palette helps breathe life into my work. Whether it’s painting eagles, coyotes, owls, great blue herons, sandpipers, or pheasants on my parents Cape Breton Coast property, or hawks, ducks, deer, swans, herons, or turkey vultures of my home town in Brampton, Ontario, my subject matter continues to abound around me and inspire me."

"Haris Hawk" - oil on canvas 16"X20"

"Every time I paint these birds, I am stunned by their intense drama."

"Sundance" - oil on canvas 18"X24"

The red tailed hawks are so colourful. I enjoyed watching the sun turn their tails on fire.

"Blue Shadows" - oil on canvas 24"X24"

"I just loved the contrast between the warm colours of this grizzly's coat, and the ice blue shadows on the snow."

"A Peace of Bras d'Or" - oil on canvas 12"X24"

"Dream Catcher" - oil on canvas 40"X40"

"I almost missed this guy, sunning on the rock. If you look real close you can see the feathers left over from his last meal."
