JACQUIE OHORA studied sculpture, printmaking, drawing and painting part time at OCAD. She also took numerous workshops with national and international artists.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT: Having worked my way from realism to abstraction and finally to a form of pointillistic minimal art, I find I have enjoyed the journey, trying various media along the way. Now my intention is for the viewer to let the colours dictate a mood or feeling and hopefully it will be a pleasant experience.

Most of the works are done on prepared paper with many layers of crosses with oil sticks. Unframed pieces are 30 x 44”. Framed pieces: 37 x 51”(approx)
